the crit is a critical studies journal published by the University of Idaho College of Law that provides a singular and comparative forum for critical commentary on contemporary legal issues. the crit publishes multi-disciplinary, multi-media pieces in an effort to join critical conversations among discrete academic disciplines. Our journal presents pieces that are raw and unfiltered, pieces that don't just push the edge, but create the edge. Our authors and editors ask thorny questions and find the answers amid the shards of impossibility.
the Crit is accepting textual, narrative, and multi-media contributions
from all disciplines. Submissions should have some nexus with the law, the law
being defined in its broadest sense. The law is much more than statues and cases;
it is any official action or inaction justified, at some point, by a claim of
legitimate authority.
