How to Submit

The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2008. Textual submissions are accepted in Microsoft Word (.doc) or in Rich Text Format (.rtf).

the crit is accepting textual, narrative, and multi-media contributions from all disciplines. Submissions should have some nexus with the law, the law being defined in its broadest sense. Submissions are not required to follow the traditional law review format, although submissions using that format are welcome. the crit welcomes submissions in varied formats, including but not limited to law review articles, narratives, textual commentaries, cartoons, short stories, photo collages, video documentaries and video commentaries.

All submissions must be original work created by the submitting author. Any other works used within the body of the submission must be cited using either Bluebook citation format (for textual legal submissions) or MLA citation format (for textual submissions from other disciplines). We will vary traditional citation formats to the extent that we will permit citations to contain the first and last names of the cited scholars (see Katharine Bartlett's Feminist Legal Methods, 103 Harv. L. Rev. 829 Ft:* (1990), for an explanation). This is not mandatory but can be done at the author's discretion.

Multimedia submissions must credit cited works either within the body of the piece or in ending credits.

the crit maintains a strict adherence to a code of ethics and professionalism. We respectfully ask all authors to comply with the standards listed above.
